Overall: Very Good, Food: Very Good, Service: Very Good, Atmosphere: Good, Cleanliness: Very Good
This was our first visit, even though it's just down the road from us. It's tucked behind the McDonald's in the shopping plaza.

The layout is very informal with a counter in the back, but no, you don't order at the counter. Sit at one of the nice wooden tables for your meal. Service was prompt and friendly.

We started with the wood-fired-oven bread, meatball appetizer and a "small" Caesar salad.

The bread is round and flat and splits like a pita to accept the olive oil or delicious herbed butter that're served with it.

The meatball appetizer (eight or so small meatballs in marinara sauce) was delicious. I guess my expectations must not be very high due to the run-of-the-mill meatballs in many places and I was very pleasantly surprised.

The half salad indicates that the full-sized salad must be enormous. It also was a very-well executed Caesar.

We ordered two pizzas so we could try a red and a white and take the leftovers home. The red pizza had genoa salami and plenty of garlic. The white (ie, no tomato sauce) had prosciutto and arugula. Both were very good - lettuce on a pizza isn't really my thing but I didn't order it! The rustic style pizza cooked in their wood-fired oven really is the way to go. A far cry from what passes as pizza in some places that shall remain nameless.

The wine selection is small but decent. We had glasses of Quattro Mani Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Antonio Sanguinetti 'Nessun Dorma' Super Tuscan both of which were very good.

The 12" pizzas are around $12, wines were $8-10, appetizers around $6.

I was there for dinner, alone, on a Thursday evening a couple of months ago. I was left alone for 45 minutes. I kept trying to flag someone for service, but I was totally ignored. I left, won't go back.
