Main course: Katleta: Russian style hamburger, two beef/pork patties with lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, and mayo on two large slices of white bread (definitely not the white bread one gets in a grocery store)
Appetizer: a plate of pita bread (pita bread was slightly toasted on one side), tzatziki sauce, kalamata olives, sliced onions, feta cheese, and cucumbers. A bit large for only one person.
Beer: Before/After, a Lithuanian lager, very good, 12% alcohol.
The name is a reference to that old joke about the relationship between feminine attractiveness and the amount of alcohol consumed. The label also includes a trick drawing.
The menu includes 4 Greek items plus several appetizers and 12 Russian items, several of which probably are more European than strictly Russian--stuffed cabbage rolls and stuffed bell peppers, for example.
Definitely a place to return to.
Warning: it's also a market with mostly European import goodies on the shelves. I ended up getting a bottle of dill pickles, another bottle of the beer, and a bottle of a Georgian salsa. It would have been more if I had wandered around a bit more.
When I opened the pickle jar, I got a surprise. It was the first time I had ever had a sweet dill pickle--I ate three more just to be sure.
